I am Alisa Hunt. I am a certified, licensed massage therapist and have been in business for over 20 years located in the city of Decatur for 15 years. I am knowledgeable in the most up to date body mechanics in massage. My work helps many people with Sciatica, Frozen Shoulder, in addition to other muscular issues. I have had a wealth of positive results in neck and shoulder pain rehabilitation and continue to work at ensuring that you receive the best care possible.

     I worked along side of a chiropractor for several years and was fortunate enough to be taught  Graston Technique! Graston work is a form of manual soft tissue instrument-assisted mobilization therapy. The therapy is designed for the practitioner to find the restriction and to aid in scar tissue repair. This work is great for people who have had breaks, torn ligaments/tendons, sprains, and surgeries! 

    I have always been a practitioner who listens and concentrates on each individual’s needs. I am able to give you lost range of motion back and keep you on a course of getting back to the things you love to do! Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly. 

The benefits of cold stone massage include the ability to reduce swelling and inflammation in muscles, but they are also known for stress and pain relieving abilities.
